Customs of the house

  • Refundable security deposit. A ₹2,000 deposit is taken before a shoot or event and returned in full after inspection, provided there’s no damage or mess.
  • No smoking. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
  • No alcohol. Consumption of alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
  • No outside food. Please don’t bring outside food into the Wada without prior arrangement.
  • Footwear off in the main hall. Out of respect for the deity and the home, footwear is left outside the main hall and the indicated rooms.
  • Clear your décor. Flower petals, props and decorations you bring are cleared away and taken back by you afterwards.
  • Care for the property. Please treat the Wada and its natural surroundings gently — it’s a living heritage.

What can I shoot or host at ShivBhumi?

The Wada suits films, TV serials, web series, period and historical productions, ads, music videos, pre-wedding and photography shoots, cultural events and small corporate retreats. If you have something else in mind, just ask.

How do I check availability and book?

Message us on WhatsApp or send an enquiry with your dates, the kind of shoot or event, and rough crew size. We’ll confirm availability and the details with you directly.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes — a refundable ₹2,000 security deposit is taken before your shoot or event and returned in full after a quick inspection, as long as there’s no damage or mess left behind.

What are the house rules?

No smoking, no alcohol and no outside food on the premises; footwear is removed in the main hall out of respect for the deity; and any décor you bring is cleared away afterwards. Full customs are listed on the site.
